Very easy to work with in all regards. Courteous, expedient and better than average service all around. Enjoyed working with Tory, Brandon, Phil, Sally and Daniel who all were willing to make sensible recommendations, listen to our needs, correct any deficiencies/errors and provide a great level of customer care. Thank you for getting us back on track with our brand new A/C system as promised! Big thanks to Tory and the company owner for going the extra mile to provide a fair deal and take the time to deliver us a heat pump that we were advised was the only one available in the area! I would definitely recommend Mason Air Conditioning & Heating based on our experience!

Flushed 1" drain from water heater. Collected nothing as Garrett collected for line clear.
Found portion supply plenum leaking cold air into the attic. Suggest to replace this portion of plenum and seal connections. Supply duct that is feeding the trunk line. Has multiple holes and is leaking cool air as well. Second floor system has had issues draining in the past. Cleaned and treated drain as part of today's maintenance visit. Suggest UV Light for both indoor pieces of equipment as this will reduce mold growth and to sanitize indoor air.
Performed system maintenance. Found equipment operating with low refrigerant charge. Performed leak search as part of maintenance. Found leak present at filter dryer on roof top. Need to recover refrigerant still present in system and change filter dryer pull vacuum and top off refrigerant charge. Approximately 4 lbs of 410a. Thermostat wire on rooftop has also deteriorated this can cause a low voltage short and damage more expensive components and cause a no cooling scenario. Suggest to replace the filter dryer and replace portion of low voltage wire exposed on rooftop. James returned and evacuated system Removed old filter dryer and replaced with new Pressure tested system Triple evacuated system to 500 microns Charged system with factory charge System is cooling as designed at this time but will need to return tomorrow from 12-4 time frame to replace outdoor communication wiring due to me not having enough in my truck at this time. Made client aware Replaced thermostat w
Arrived to find system almost completely out of Freon Added Freon to get system running to then find system now going off on high head pressure. Client called another company out before we could come assess issues and you can tell someone broke the sensing bulb off and then tried to adjust valve which is a non adjustable txv. Made clients aware that (2) parts need to be ordered now to fix issues.
Vent still condensating in back bar area and a little bit in main lobby. Need to force more air into that area. Recommended adding another supply or two in the back bar area to force more air so that vents do not condensate. Also opened up the baffles on the supply. Diffusers, most of them were closed off, which was restricting airflow. Scheduled to come back Wednesday, June 18.
Sealed supply boots with mastic and roll insulation to prevent sweating
Jumped the Bryant unit to 2 stage cooling. It will now cool at 100% capacity Everytime it comes on. Should take care of the heat load issue on that side of the restaurant. James gave an estimate for carrier system, the condenser coil is shot. It’s doing everything it can.
Low pressure 24v wire had a short at compressor from contact with refrigerant line. The wire was repaired and system is operating in good condition at this time.
Task Includes -Installation of new Bryant commercial 4 Ton RTU -Strapping and sealing to code -Reconnecting to existing electrical, ductwork, and drain -All permits and fees included -Crane fee included
Returned to find system with a blow out in condenser coil Advised client replacement over repairs is a highly recommended solution due to age and cost of repairs.
Arrived to find t stat in off position and 84 degreees in area of concern. Investigated bar side system to find bad condenser fan motor Replaced with new universal motor Tested system to find all okay and cooling to best of abilities Made Joe aware that system is old and falling apart! Replacement is in its near future. Sent invoice payment link Performed the below task. Task includes -Replacement of out of warranty condenser motor
Performed system maint Found merv16 highly restricted air filter causing high static pressure and making system inefficient. Advised client to run a less restrictive air filter (merv8). Adjusted charge and assured proper operation. Advised client he has no up light on his system and the error message he was receiving on t stat was for his air filtration system and that it does not need to be replaced but is required to change fikter. Also advised to change fikter more periodically due to dust in home as I was informed about. Advised client that he may have duct leakage but was unknown at this time and can not access attic to inspect duct system.
